What is UTC?
UTC stands for Coordinated Universal Time. Its offset from UTC is UTC+0, the same clock time as UTC.
UTC is the world's time standard. Other time zones are written as an offset from it, for example UTC+3. It never changes for daylight saving.
UTC and GMT show the same clock time, but they are not the same thing: UTC is the modern standard kept by atomic clocks, while GMT is a time zone used in some countries.
