What is MST?
MST stands for Mountain Standard Time. Its offset from UTC is UTC-7, 7 hours behind UTC.
MST is the winter time of the mountain region of the United States and Canada, seven hours behind UTC.
Most of Arizona does not change its clocks, so Phoenix stays on MST all year, which means it matches Denver in winter and Los Angeles in summer. Alberta stopped changing its clocks in 2026 and now stays on UTC-6 all year.
