What is PDT?
PDT stands for Pacific Daylight Time. Its offset from UTC is UTC-7, 7 hours behind UTC.
PDT is the summer time of the Pacific coast of the United States and Canada, seven hours behind UTC.
In winter these places go back to PST (UTC-8). Most of British Columbia stopped changing its clocks in 2026 and now stays on UTC-7 all year, so it is no longer an example of PDT.
